I'm experimenting with B2B outreach on email and LinkedIn and I've come up with a remarkably effective method that has very high response rates. What everyone else does: Send a connection request Send a Linkedin message proposing a solution and asking to talk. These often arrive immediately you accept the connection request indicating the automation. (I get about 10 of these a day and typically ignore almost all of them) My approach with amazingly high response rates: 😀 Instead of the usual connection request plus a follow-up message, I load their website in one browser tab. Then I open my own site in a second tab, and my product in a third. I record a short video under two minutes, telling them what I want to discuss. I say their name while I browse their site, then flip over to show my solution and the problem I see. I send that video by email and as a LinkedIn message, and I put the subject of the email as “What I want to talk to you about” Why it works so well: The subject ‘what I want to talk to you about’ raises immediate curiosity It’s personalized to them - I have taken the time to record a specific message with their name and website They can immediately assess if they want to talk or not, without wasting further time I would rather send fewer messages with high response rates, than spam large prospect lists and get almost no responses.
