People are six times more likely to follow a person than a company page. Sit with that for a second. Your buyers don't want to follow your logo. They want to follow the human who runs the place. The one with actual opinions about where the industry is going. Here's where the personal branding industry gets it wrong. They treat a founder's LinkedIn as a performance. Polish the profile, buy the followers, post the motivational quote. Generic content dressed up as a person. The real material was inside the company the whole time. The founder's take on a deal that went sideways. What a manufacturer told your ops lead last week. A customer's offhand comment that reframed how you price. People follow that. And trust travels through a person before it ever reaches a company account, which is what actually earns you the sale. So here's the question that matters. Whether your best thinking ever makes it out of the building. Because it already happens out loud. In the room, with a customer or a supplier or your own team. Most execs don't lose that thinking because they doubt it's worth sharing. They lose it because they can't find 90 minutes to write a single post, and the idea evaporated somewhere between the two meetings where it showed up. A voice note doesn't have that problem. Say the thing once, out loud, and it's captured before it's gone.
